I’m a community manager who has built and retained a 500k+ member global community across an internal platform, Reddit, and Instagram. One of the micro-communities I launched is a Neurodiverse space where contributors can bond over shared experience in a safe, comfortable environment. My day-to-day is the work that makes a community feel human: welcoming new members, replying to every post, moderating with care, and turning what members keep raising into feedback for product and leadership. I’ve built the systems behind it too, including moderation and escalation processes and engagement and retention tracking, and I’m comfortable setting things up from scratch. I’m looking for a part-time role where I can help build a community from the ground up, especially one where care and trust come first.
